Firm Overview
Nationally Recognized Washington, D.C., Criminal Law Attorney
Above all else, Ken Robinson is recognized as a prominent criminal defense attorney handling cases of national importance. After serving as an assistant United States attorney in Washington, D.C., from 1969-1973, senior partner Kenneth Michael Robinson opened our firm in 1975 with a strong focus on providing effective criminal defense representation for clients throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland. For more than 30 years, our national reputation for effectiveness in the courtroom has grown immeasurably.
Criminal defense is still the heart of our practice
Our firm has represented clients in more than 300 jury trials and over 50 appellate court cases. Our clients have included prominent judges, elected officials and business leaders who couldn't settle for anything less than the most aggressive, effective and skilled defense representation possible. In fact, Ken Robinson played a successful defense attorney role in the nationally recognized ABSCAM case in the 1980s.
Our trial skills and experience extend to other practice areas
With extensive trial skills and experience, we have expanded our original practice areas to include complex civil litigation cases for plaintiff and defense.
We have earned the important AV rating*
The effective representation our firm provides has been recognized by our peers throughout the legal profession. We have earned the AV rating* and our attorneys have been named in The Best Lawyers in America® reference guide.
In addition to our own professional resources, we have developed close relationships with lawyers and independent experts possessing a full range of skills and experiences. While we often resolve criminal charges by plea arrangements, our primary focus is always to focus on winning in a jury trial. It is one reason we lightheartedly say that we offer "reasonable doubt for a reasonable fee." We not only try cases — we win them on a consistent basis.
Fee Arrangements
Ken Robinson offers payment plans and accepts all major credit cards. We also offer a convenient E-Pay option for our criminal defense clients.
